Lab 2: Task at hand.
in Lab 2 for geography 7 we were assigned to answer questions 1 through 5 from the 7.5 minute map.
1) the name of the quadrangle is called Beverly Hills Quadrangle
2 ) the names of the other quadrangles are the Van Nuys, Canoga Park, Burbank, Topanga, Hollywood, Venice, and Inglewood Quadrangles.
3) the quadrangle was first created in 1966
4) the datum used to create my map was The National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929
5) the scale of the map is 1:24 000

this map depicts the beautiful shadows of the Moon.....i chose it for my blog because it shows some of the Maria and many of the craters as well.

This one is in a different color and gives it a different meaning. It seems to show more of the topography, unlike the other maps.
